TASS Product Overview

The Authority Site System (TASS) is widely regarded as one of the best, if not the best, online Affiliate Marketing Training Programs available. With TASS you will be provided with the tools and training you need to start in Affiliate Marketing.

TASS was founded in 2014 by Gael Breton & Mark Webster. The Co-Founders claim that their training is the most comprehensive Affiliate Marketing Training on the web today.

The Good

Step-By-Step: TASS offers step-by-step walkthroughs for a wide variety of subjects including:
• Choosing Your Niche
• Getting Started with a Domain
• Keyword Research
• Help Designing Your Website
• Template Design

Strong Community: TASS has a strong community of members on their platform and through social media. Having a community of like minded people makes for a better learning experience.

Training: TASS has some of the most comprehensive training on the internet today. They offer 15 in-depth training modules as well as over 180 “Over the Shoulder” videos to help out even more.

Updates: The courses included in the premium package are kept up to date with the latest methods.

The Bad

Price: $997 (one-time) – Every Affiliate Training Program costs something if it is truly effective. Most people are hesitant to spend $50/month on a product and even more people get scared by the one-time price others offer because of the astronomical pricing.

Not All-Inclusive: Like most Affiliate Marketing Programs, not everything is offered with the one-time payment. Many other expensive tools will be needed if you want to get the absolute best results. Some of these tools can be anywhere from $99-$999 and you may need more than one.

Overwhelming: Even though TASS isn’t all-inclusive when it comes to the tools needed, but it does offer a lot. It offers so much content and training to start out that a beginner may get overwhelmed and quit before they really get started.

Who Would Benefit with TASS

Programs like these are built and designed so that even people with little to no internet skills can get started. Your reason for getting into Affiliate Marketing may be one of the following:

Are you a single mom and just want some Passive Monthly Income to help get by? This is for you.

Are you a college student need help making ends me? Look no further.

Are you tired of working 40-50 hours every week and still barely making it? TASS will make it easier.

Are you retired and looking for something to do? Why not make money online with TASS?

According the their website, The Authority Site System targets people who are: marketing newbies, people who have tried & failed, or website builders wanting to scale up their business. So no matter what level you are with Affiliate Marketing, they have something to help you.

TASS Tools and Training

Tools provided by the TASS program include:

  • Website Design
  • Keyword Research
  • Course Lessons
  • The Community

Training included with The Authority Site System:

  • Niche research and site planning
  • Site setup
  • Content Creation
  • Link Building

Support Offered with The Authority Site System

Affiliate Programs offer support in multiple ways.

The Community of any Affiliate Program is a great place to ask like-minded people for help when you hit a snag.

The Owners can be of help to most programs. One of the ways the owners of TASS help and contribute is buy giving discounts on tools and services that aren’t included with the $997 price-tag.

The Community of TASS is relatively small in comparison with more well known Affiliate programs such as Wealthy Affiliate. TASS has a community of more than 6,000 members while Wealthy Affiliate has more than 800,000 members.

The Authority Site System Price

Any Affiliate Program that actually works will cost you something. Whether the cost is in membership fees or tools required, if you want to make money online you will have to spend a little as well.

The one-time price for TASS is a staggering $997. Many people (myself included) shy away from programs like this simply because it’s scary to fork over a grand for something you aren’t sure about. But, like all reputable Affiliate Programs, TASS does offer a 30-day money back guarantee.

My Final Opinion on The Authority Site System (TASS)

TASS is definitely an Affiliate Marketing Program that will teach you step-by-step on how to create a successful online business.

But, they aren’t 100% transparent when it comes to the costs. If you want total access to their program it is going to cost you $997.

But wait, there’s more.

What TASS doesn’t tell you from the start (unless you do your complete research) is that you will need other tools! This could get very expensive considering that just ONE of the tools they recommend is another $99/month.

I don’t know about you guys, but if I’m paying (pretty much) $1000 for a product, I want the whole product.

You can pretty much go 2 different ways when it comes to Affiliate Marketing. You can have a hefty one-time purchase with programs like CJ Affiliate and TASS. Or you could have much smaller monthly payments around $29.99 – $99.99 with programs like Wealthy Affiliate and Six Figure Mentors.

The cold truth is that no matter which route you take, you will almost certainly have to pay extra for tools that aren’t provided.

Even though TASS has been proven NOT to be a scam, it does seem a little shady.

  1. Hello,

Thank you so much for sharing this review of The Authority Site System, which I did not not know before. It’s important to get the reviews of the platforms before investing in them, so as to avoid falling for scams. Well, it’s great that with The Authority Site System they are transparent with the money, but it’s too costly according to me.

    Best wishes.

    • Thank you for the feedback, Kokontala. I agree, that price-tag is just a little to steep for me. It’s a lot to pay for something. I’d rather have a monthly payment that I can cancel anytime rather than forking over that much money from the start. Again, thank you for commenting!

  2. Thanks for sharing your review of this here. I have never actually heard of this before and I doubt i would buy into t. You see, the thing is that no matter how good something is, when asking for a price like that, well, it’s a bit of an ask is all i can say. They should at least have a free trial so that you know youre not getting bumped.

    • I agree, Kwidzin. Prices like that don’t interest me too much at all. Maybe it would be different if I personally knew someone who had great success with this method but I do not.

      Thanks for the feedback!

  3. I have been hearing some good things about these guys, a British guy and a French. The only thing that turns me off is that their price tag is high. I decided to go over to their YouTube channel. And sure enough, their content is great. But it’s to much money for me. What would you suggest in my case?

    • Yeah, I’m not a fan of that price tag either. To me, that’s just too much to spend on something out of the gate.

As far as cheaper programs, the only really free one that I know of is Wealthy Affiliate

But there are some decent free tools out there to help grow your online business. Tools like Aweber and MailerLite are decent software programs for email campaigns. And you can use Canva for free for design purposes.

Thanks for checking out the article, Ann.

  4. Thank you for your honest review The Authority Site System (TASS) Review. Affiliate marketing takes time, it does not happen right away. The one time payment seems a bit high, plus you may still have to pay for hidden cost. I love Wealthy Affiliate, its an amazing platform and you can choose to pay monthly or yearly.

I agree, the one time payment is a little high… I may be a little biased but I am also a fan of Wealthy Affiliate and everything that it offers.

  5. I have never heard of TASS before and it looks like a good program. Even though it doesn’t have as many members as Wealthy Affiliate, 6000 is still very good. So, $997 dollars is a one-time price, does that mean per year or for lifetime access?

It’s expensive and afer paying nearly 1000 dollars, getting more expenses on top of that can be discouraging. I agree that for such a price you would expect a complete package. I understand that knowledge doesn’t come free but I think that I would look for another platform that charges less but still has a great reputation.

  6. I can’t get past the bad…the $997 upfront fee.  I think if you are a single mom, as I am, the fee would be way beyond considering.  Especially when you would not be sure if you would benefit and see a return on the investment.  Granted, it does sounds like a great program.  I would just have a very tough time paying $997 when I have other things that need taken care of.

    • Leahrea, I can’t agree with you more. A thousand upfront with absolutely no guarantee just doesn’t seem worth it to me, or especially for the single parents such as yourself.

Thanks for giving it a read!

  7. Thank you for very interesting review. Im just starting my adventure with digital marketing and I already learnt  that its not easy to find decent, comprehensive affiliate training platform. But looking on your post TASS may be what IM looking for. Its not cheap (and hidden extra costs are bit disappointing) but at the same time it provides massive amounts of information, and  opinions about it are mostly positive. Looking forward to test it in practice.

  8. Thank you very much for this review – The Authority Site System (TASS) Review. The initial stages of building a website and coming up with content is a lot of hard work. Getting a good platform to assist you in moving forward is a good investment. However i have when certain platform have hidden cost.

    • Hey, Diana. Thanks for stopping by and checking out the article.

I agree with you 100%, I cannot stand hidden costs or when a program isn’t up front about what it’s going to cost someone.

  9. I agree with you totally. While TASS might stack up as a quality affiliate marketing program it falls down with that whopping upfront $997 price. And then to have other costs added for useful add ons does not sit well with me. TASS comes across more as a program out primarily to get my money rather than one also concerned with my development as an affiliate marketer. Particularly during these difficult times, some flexibility in payment and better transparency would go a long way. Appreciate the alternative in Wealthy Affiliate which appears much more in line with my pocket and learning expectations.

I couldn’t agree with you more! Having those added costs on top of a program that already costs $997 is ridiculous.

There are way to get a pretty substantial discount on the $997 price tag, but you’ll still be paying $600+ along with the $38-$100 per month for the added expenses that don’t come with the high price tag. I’ll stick with Wealthy Affiliate for now but I’m always doing research.

      Again, Thanks for stopping by!

  10. Hey there! I just finished reading your review of the Authority Site System and just had to drop you a quick comment. I’ve seen mixed reviews online about this product. The majority of reviews are promoting The Authority System in order to sell it to others and make a commission. Your review on the other hand was very helpful!

I didn’t know how expensive this system was until reading this. And then they have the audacity to include a few extra hidden costs in there as well! I hate upsells like this and so for that reason, I won’t be going anywhere near The Authority Site System.

    Thanks for the honest review!

    • Hey Andrew!

Thanks for checking out my review on TASS.

I’ve seen a few of ‘reviews’ from members of TASS who are only in it to promote the program and not actually build a business online.

IMO, this gives the program a very bad reputation because if said member is asked for help by someone he referred and he looks like an idiot…. that doesn’t bode well for the program.

With the initial price tag and the added expenses, I’ll be staying away from this program as well.

      Again, Thanks for stopping by!

  11. I agree with you that every affiliate program costs money, but you are right that the TASS price tag of almost 1000 dollars seems like a lot. It’s definitely too rich for my blood. However, if the program works and you can make your money back with profit then it would obviously be a great investment.

Thanks for checking out my review on TASS.

I’m with ya on the fact that the price tag is too high. And you’re exactly right, if it works for you, great! But it’s not for me.

The great thing about TASS’s high price tag is that they do offer a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee (no questions asked)… so at least you’re not really out any more as long as you request a refund in the allowed time!

      Again, Thanks for stopping by!

  12. To pay $1,000 for a program like this is a joke. Not a single person just starting online would give such an amount just because most don’t have that! I don’t know really if the program is good or not but they should definitely rethink their pricing policy because it cannot be successful like this.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my review on TASS.

I 100% agree with you on the price tag they have on their program. I had that much money before starting, but I sure as heck didn’t want to risk a good chunk of my start up on one program.

The ONLY sort of ‘silver lining’ with their price is that they do offer a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee (no questions asked)..

      Again, Thanks for stopping by!

  13. Hi there, there are so many training programs available these days that claim they will teach you how to earn money from affiliate marketing. The Authority Site System is another one, that I have not heard of before. It is good to do research before buying into any program, and the price tag of TASS is certainly above my budget. Combined with the other products that will be required, I will stay with Wealthy Affiliate for now.

Wealthy Affiliate is definitely my first choice. Maybe I’m a little bias, but it’s worked for me so far.

  14. Your review of TASS was very comprehensive and I feel that you gave a fair assessment of what you get. I’m so pleased that you highlighted the fact that after you pay the $997 you will then need to pay even more for the extra tools that are needed to run a successful website. This is the case with all the learning platforms but hiding this fact can make newbies feel ripped off. Do they host your website as well?

    • Hey Lily!

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my review for TASS.

Unfortunately, anyone who pays the $997 will still need to pay for hosting. The added expenses for the domain and hosting (along with some other necessities), you’re looking at anywhere from $38-$100 per month on top of spending the $997.

I consider TASS to be legitimate, but it all depends on how much money you want to spend. I find it hard to believe they give out ‘better’ information and/or tips than a cheaper program like Wealthy Affiliate for example.

      Again, Thanks for stopping by!

  15. Thank you so much for this. It is extremely helpful to see such an in-depth analysis of the Authority Site System (TASS) program. They push a lot of hype, which usually tends to make me skeptical of the product — if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. It’s helpful to know that it does get a good rating, but based on your detail, I can tell that it won’t be the best investment for me. Thank you so much for helping me make a more informed decision!

Thanks for stopping by and giving your opinion on the TASS review here. It seems a little strange (or backwards to some) but I’m with you, the more hype a program pushes, the more skeptical I am of it.

There are many more cheaper options out there, so just make sure you do your research before committing to anything.

      Again, Thanks for stopping by!
